I was drawn to music, travel and the healing arts at a young age, and have always been eager to explore, learn and give with my hands. Through dance, playing instruments and bodywork, my intrinsic understanding of how the body responds, feels and moves through all senses is part of my original skill as a body worker and healer.
As an eclectic teen growing up in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains, I discovered my aspirations when at 21 embarked on a 13 month adventure backpacking around the world studying eastern philosophy, alternative medicine and ethnic music. Those experiences at a young age shaped my deep understanding of how to utilize global wisdom through holistic body work and different approaches to healing as I saw through the different places that touched me. They also infused me with an appreciation for creative expression through music and dance using my hands on string instruments, expressing in African dance, all keys to working with the body and mind.
With a philosophy to ‘follow the middle path’, I am committed to an idea that we can all live balanced, happy, pain free lives and I am an advocate to promoting sustainable holistic health and wellness world wide.
